LESSON PROGRAM MISSION:
To Provide an AFFORDABLE Private Riding Lesson Option to Encourage More Memphis Area Locals to Become Involved with Horses!
We offer a limited number of affordable private horseback riding lessons- kids 6+ and adults. (English and Western) Focus is on Pleasure Riding with an emphasis in safety, overall horsemanship, and FUN! Our specialty is starting out beginner riders (kids and adults) and preparing them for affordable horse ownership in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our training philosophy is: Focus on what you've got and work with it! This applies to both horses & life! Our students learn to appreciate horses as more than a means to an end.
Horse ownership does not equal Horse Showing! Although showing provides great learning opportunities, this program provides a more affordable option for individuals and families wanting to experience and learn about horses outside of the competitive show circuit in a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
Note: If you are a more advanced rider, wishing to pursue high level English Riding: Jumping/Dressage/Combined Training with an interest in showing, we recommend Southern Blues Equestrian Center as a top-knotch local equestrian educational facility!
COMING SOON: The Memphis Horses "Back in the Saddle Event" for ADULTS! (Why Should Kid's Have All the Fun?)
Open to all adults wanting to learn more about horses as well as those wanting to get "back in the saddle" after time away from horses- for the FUN of it!!! Come to this event to learn more about horses, area horse activities, & to network with fellow horse lovers! Think of it as the new "Pony Club for Adults!"
